He began to manufacture movements with growing success for mamy of the internatinally renown companies. The CEO and grandson of the companies founder, Paul Erard registered the name of his grandfathers "Louis Erard" in 1978 as trademark and now products are availible under this name world-wide. In 1993 the company was taken over by the Bolzi brozhers. The company moved to a new location in Le Noirmont which offered even more space for an destingished upcoming company.
